VERITAS Router Base for Multi-Function Tool
With the help of this router base, you can transform almost any multi-function tool (such as a „Dremel”) into a small plunge router for the finest tasks. The router base allows you to precisely control the routing depth to create recesses for fittings or inlays. You can also use it for freehand routing. Deep-set handles and a 102 mm x 76 mm (4 inch x 3 inch) large base plate enable you to work safely on narrow surfaces and close to the edge.
A cutout on one side of the base plate makes it easier for you to see the router bit clearly. The depth adjustment is made with a stop rod with a fine adjustment screw, allowing you to plunge exactly as deep as planned. For extended routing with consistent depth, the router base can be fixed in the desired position using a clamping lever.
Grooved handles near the base plate allow you to hold the router with your fingertips. The palms are close to the workpiece, enabling you to guide the router optimally. The router base is largely made of aluminum, and the rods and clamping screws are made of stainless steel. It fits machine collars with a 3/4 inch-12 thread, as most multi-tools (and even most „large” Dremel tools) have.
