Water pump pliers or pipe wrenches are designed for gripping a variety of shapes, but primarily round workpieces. The jaws are serrated on the inside and induction-hardened. The fine adjustment is stepless and features – depending on the size of the pliers – 10 to 15 ratchet positions. It is operated by a lateral push button. Consistently ergonomically shaped handles allow the transmission of very high forces through self-locking, even in unfavorable gripping directions. The through-bolt slip joint ensures durability. Overall, these pliers are extremely robust.
