Product information
This is the most commonly used drill design for processing iron and steel. The wide flutes and the choice of the appropriate helix angle ensure good chip removal. This drill is highly elastic, resistant to vibration, and exhibits high profile accuracy. The helix angle is optimally matched to the respective drill diameter. The diameter tolerance „h8”, meaning lowercase „h”, indicates that only a minus tolerance is provided. Technically, every drill always drills a bit larger than its diameter. Therefore, these drills are manufactured undersized, so that an 8 mm drill also drills an exact 8 mm hole. For example, an 8 mm drill has a diameter of 7.98 mm. Execution up to 2.9 mm plain, from 3 mm in black.
