The Twin Bit was specifically designed for use in battery-powered tools such as cordless drills. Its special design reduces power consumption during drilling, thereby extending battery life. Twin Bits are the ideal drill bits for construction sites.
The advantages of this design in detail:
- Threaded tip with fine thread: the fine thread significantly reduces the pull-in force into the wood. A lower torque is sufficient, and power consumption is reduced.
- Two pre-cutters: the wear on the most sensitive part of any drill bit is halved by having two pre-cutters instead of one, resulting in an even cleaner cut.
- Two main cutters: two main cutters help break up the chips. Clogging and energy loss due to friction are reduced. Less pressure is needed during operation.
- Easy chip removal: the combination of a spiral at the cutting end and an open straight shank in the same diameter size at the other end improves chip removal and reduces friction heat.
- Universal hex shank 6.35 mm: fits in any standard cordless drill. We recommend a cordless drill with 14.4 volts or more for these bits.
Clean blind holes and through holes thanks to the two pre-cutters. For through drilling, we recommend materials up to a thickness of 45 mm. Suitable for all types of wood and wood-based materials except tropical hardwood. Supplied in a sturdy transparent plastic box.
