Product information
This traditionally crafted Kataba is universally applicable as it is suitable for cross, rip, and diagonal cuts. Its suitability for cuts in all directions is thanks to a special clearing tooth, which interrupts the otherwise uniform tooth pattern every 2 to 3 cm. You might wonder why you still need rip and crosscut saws if both types of cuts can be performed with one saw. The answer is clear: single-purpose saws are always better suited for their specific purpose than multipurpose or universal saws. The crosscut with a crosscut saw is cleaner than with a universal saw, and the rip cut with a rip saw can be completed significantly faster than with a universal saw. If these characteristics are not your primary concern, a universal saw is perfectly sufficient for all three types of cuts. One more note: these saws should not be placed in the hands of beginners.
