Flexcut began in 1992 with the development and manufacture of a completely new series of carving tools, designed to meet the needs of professional sculptors while also considering the needs of hobby carvers. Until then, since the beginning of the industrial revolution, there had been virtually no changes to the design of carving tools – but the needs of users had evolved.

The name „Flexcut” is intentional: instead of rigid, thick, and heavy tools, the developers – sculptors themselves – experimented with lightweight, flat, and slightly flexible tools that could be easily guided with one hand or tapped with the palm. Flexcut tools come highly sharpened right out of the box – a feature that particularly delights hobby carvers who may not be very familiar with sharpening. But remember: the time will come when you will have to address sharpening.

These scorping tools are right-angled bent small carving tools designed for applications where the full length of a handle cannot be accommodated by the working environment. They can be used to create all kinds of deep and narrow hollows. These scorping tools are available in 4 different profiles for both right-handed and left-handed users.
