Flexcut began in 1992 with the development and manufacturing of a completely new series of carving tools, which were designed to meet the needs of professional sculptors while also considering the requirements of hobby carvers. Until then, since the beginning of the industrial revolution, there had been virtually no change in the design of carving tools – though the needs of users had evolved.

The name „Flexcut” is indicative of their mission: instead of rigid, thick, and heavy tools, the developers – sculptors themselves – experimented with lightweight, flat, and slightly flexible tools that can be comfortably guided with one hand or struck with the palm. Flexcut tools come from the factory with a high level of sharpness, which particularly pleases the hobby carver who may not be very familiar with sharpening. But remember: that moment will come, and at some point, you will have to deal with it.
