This is how easily the characteristics of these sculptor’s files can be summarized. Unlike the sawdust produced by conventional rasps, this tool creates small chips with its sharp edges. At first, we were unsure whether to emphasize „file” or „rasp” in the name, but we followed the manufacturer’s translated designation, who simply called them „Carving File.” After trying out these „sculptor's files,” we were so impressed by their properties that we found the initially strange-sounding name to be very fitting.
