In the past, planes with replaceable blades often had the problem of shavings getting between the blade and the holder, making proper planing impossible. RALI has solved this issue; the blade fits snugly in the holder thanks to the clamping mechanism, allowing you to work without problems or worries.
Admittedly, the technical-looking design takes some getting used to, but the construction is 100% functional and ergonomic. With a knob (visible in the images), the planing depth can be adjusted continuously, making the plane suitable for both rough and fine finishing work.
