For those who are tired of constantly having to sharpen their plane irons on construction sites due to high demand or simply don’t have the time or desire to deal with it, RALI planes with interchangeable blades offer a convenient solution.

When a blade becomes dull or has been nicked by a hidden nail, it can be replaced with just a few simple steps. Each blade can be flipped once, as it has two cutting edges.

In the past, planes with interchangeable blades often had the problem that shavings could get between the blade and the holder. Proper planing was then no longer possible. RALI has solved this problem; the iron sits absolutely tight in the holder thanks to the clamping mechanism, allowing you to work effortlessly and without worry.

Admittedly, the technically styled design of RALI planes takes some getting used to, but the construction is 100% purpose and ergonomics. The depth of cut can be continuously adjusted with a knob (visible in the images), allowing the plane to be used for both coarser and finer finishing work.
