In ancient Japan, the Kobiki-shokunin were those whose hard daily work involved sawing logs lengthwise to provide carpenters and joiners with the material needed to create their works.
Unfortunately, with the technical revolution, these saws gradually disappeared. However, the Temagori Nokogiri are still more readily available; they are very similar to the Kobiki but are neither as wide nor as stable. They are primarily used for felling trees and sawing off thick branches. We have Temagori Nokogiri in stock, which are made especially for us, as these saws have become uncommon even in Japan.
