This 20 mm version of the mounting plate has been specially developed for the Festool MFT/3 multifunction table. The shaft is only 17.5 mm (11/16 inch) long and thus slightly shorter than the thickness of the table plate (19 mm, ¾ inch). The shaft has an internal thread into which you can screw a turn knob (star grip screw). Since the toggle clamp is mounted on the 9.5 mm (3/8 inch) thick aluminum plate, the maximum clamping height increases by 9.5 mm when clamped horizontally. The minimum clamping height does not change; you can still clamp a workpiece as thin as a sheet of paper. The necessary screws for mounting the toggle clamp on the mounting plate are included in the delivery.
