This string housing without a chamber for chalk or ink is in demand everywhere no marking on the material is allowed. Here, the stretched string serves as a marker. After removing the marking pin, the red protective cap can be pressed down, revealing two marking tips on the housing. Attach the housing with the two marking tips to the workpiece at one end of the imaginary line. Now, the string can be pulled out with the marking pin, and by inserting the marking pin at the other end of the imaginary line, you have a string marking.
The housing has a locking lever for automatic winding, which can be released or closed as needed.
After finishing the work, slide the protective cap back onto the marking tips and place the marking pin on the string in the designated spot. Caution! the tips are sharp. Use only your thumb to move the protective cap, positioning it in the middle.
