Manufactured by the Swedish forge GRÄNSFORS BRUKS since 1942. It is forged entirely from specially alloyed spring steel and hardened along its entire length. It is produced in five sizes. It has a very high strength in relation to its length and weight.
Tests conducted by the Swedish institute „Statens Maskinprovningar” showed that the steel withstands extreme stresses without deforming or breaking. Both ends are finely ground to easily slide under moldings and boards. The contact surfaces at both ends are wide and polished to minimize damage to the working surface. The precision-ground V-slot allows for the extraction of nails of various sizes and head shapes.
Its special features are:
