This interchangeable table for the Veritas tool rest has a wider opening for the use of 38 mm (1-1/2 inch) thick grinding stones. The 102 mm (4 inch) wide aluminum table with a 41 mm (1-5/8 inch) wide opening can be easily swapped out for the standard table. Like the standard table, it features a horizontal groove and a hole in the center for the use of sliding and rotating attachments. (For grinding stones thinner than 38 mm (1-1/2 inch), the standard table should be used to avoid a dangerous gap between the table and the grinding stone.)
