This easy-to-handle clamp is designed for the Festool MTF/3 multifunction table. Additionally, it can be used anywhere you can drill a hole with a 20 mm diameter.
The shaft is equipped with a wedge mechanism that securely and quickly fixes the clamp (horizontally or vertically) in any suitable material with a thickness of 16 mm and above (depending on the material’s stability). This makes the clamp ideal for use in jigs, especially in sliding tables of table saws.
The clamping arm can be easily moved along the shaft when tilted. In the 90° position, it locks automatically. It has a reach of 54 mm (2-1/8 inch) and can clamp workpieces up to a thickness of 95 mm (3-3/4 inch). (The clamping capacity reduces to 79 mm (3-1/8 inch) when using the collar of the shaft as a depth stop). The wedge mechanism is operated using the brass screw at the top end of the shaft. The clamping of the workpiece is achieved with the brass screw on the clamping arm.
When using the clamp horizontally, the collar on the shaft acts as a stop for the workpiece. In vertical use, the collar prevents the workpiece from being damaged by the grooves in the shaft.
