The largest sharpening stone holder in our range provides significantly better non-slip stability due to its larger surface area. Even stones that are wider than the support width are securely held, such as the King Giant Stone with a length of 230 mm and a width of 100 mm. Those who have purchased a sharpening stone with a permanently attached holder will also appreciate the SUEHIRO sharpening stone holder: often enough, the attached holders do not provide sufficient non-slip stability. Now they can be clamped into the SUEHIRO sharpening stone holder along with the holder. Just one screw allows for quick and convenient stone changes.

These sharpening stone holders have a more or less strong rubber smell. In the past, sharpening stone holders could be easily categorized: the cheap ones smelled stronger, while the expensive ones smelled less strong or almost not at all. This has apparently changed based on our experiences. The smell dissipates over time. However, if you are sensitive to smells, this assurance may not satisfy you. After a smell test conducted on June 15, 2018, we can give you this tip: The sharpening stone holder from Japan with article number 309800 has the least smell. Less sensitive testers hardly notice any smell.
