Scribing two lines across an edge is often inaccurate, as angles or bevel gauges must be applied multiple times. This can easily lead to misalignment. With this angle, a wrap-around scribe can be executed quickly and easily in a single operation.
The 45° angle makes it equally simple to mark 45° miters.
Especially when working with squared timbers, this angle is perfectly suitable for 45° and 90° scribes for sawing.
In the middle, there is a recess to allow parallel scribes 15 mm away from the edge.
