This small router plane from Veritas is the ideal tool for creating grooves and small rebates, for example, for fitting drawer bottoms or panels in frame constructions.
The 168 mm long fence allows for reliable guidance along the workpiece and is equipped with two holes where an additional wooden fence can be mounted to achieve better guidance and thus higher accuracy on larger workpieces. The fence has a small recess in the area of the blade, allowing for the creation of small rebates. This router plane is a serious quiet alternative for many tasks typically performed with a router. The included A2 blade is 1/4 inch wide = 6.35 mm.
