This UHMW tape (Ultra High Molecular Weight) can be used wherever friction between two surfaces needs to be reduced. It is a transparent, incredibly durable material that allows for silky smooth gliding due to its low friction resistance: Proven to work excellently on the guide rails for the Veritas shooting plane or the Veritas shooting board!
Typical applications include workshop jigs, drawer and machine guides of all kinds. Ideal for jointer fences on the router table or under miter gauges.
The tape can be easily cut to size as needed. It is not always necessary to use it fully, so use it sparingly.
Transparent with a blue protective strip for peeling off, non-bulky due to its low material thickness, yet with excellent adhesive properties!
