This traditional model is suitable for handsaws and larger saws such as pit saws with a blade thickness of up to 1.5 mm. The knurled screw at the front top allows you to adjust the stop for the tooth tip. This enables you to determine the point on the tooth where the anvil strikes. With the knurled screw in front of the handle, you can adjust the set amount. For saws with small teeth under 4.2 mm (6 TPI), this saw set is less suitable.
