This sanding block from Veritas is sized so that standard sandpaper measuring 230 × 280 mm (9 in. x 11 in.), which you can get anywhere, is divided into exactly 6 pieces. The sanding surface is 100 × 75 mm. By tightening the screw, the sandpaper is automatically tensioned. You no longer have trouble with loose or slack sandpaper. The sanding plate is made of steel with an attached felt layer. The ergonomic handle made of maple makes working with this tool a pleasure.
