This toggle clamp automatically adjusts the clamping height continuously while maintaining nearly constant clamping force without the need to change the pressure screw position. This makes the time-consuming manual height adjustment a thing of the past. Instead of the usual rubber-covered screw head, the Bessey toggle clamps feature a rotatable pressure plate with a removable soft plastic protective cap. The lever is horizontal in the clamping position. The hole pattern of the base plate fits both mm and inch hole series. The handle is made of a two-component plastic.
This allows the Bessey horizontal clamps to be easily attached to multifunction tables such as Festool MFT or Sortimo WorkMo, or on self-built tables. The M8 × 35 cylinder screw with hex socket is inserted from above into the middle hole of the base plate. From below, the aluminum cylinder with internal thread is screwed against it. The cylinder has a diameter of 19.8 mm, fitting precisely into any hole with a 20 mm diameter. The length of the cylinder is 17 mm. The toggle clamp is fixed on the table with the cord handle. Suitable for board thicknesses from 19 to 25 mm.
