The SIMPLEX splitting hammer by Halder combines two tools in one: a splitting hammer and a soft-face hammer in absolute professional quality, offering significant cost savings compared to purchasing them separately. The high product quality is certified by the Board of Trustees for Forest Work and Technology (KWF).

The splitting insert, forged from high-quality carbon steel, ensures an extremely good splitting effect due to its turning nose. This is further supported by a total weight of 4,100g and a high head heaviness.

The superplastic insert with D60mm is a medium-hard plastic insert made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injected plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable. Using this gentle side for wedge work completely eliminates the risk of injury from metal splinters, and plastic and aluminum wedges have a significantly longer lifespan.

The ductile iron housing features an integrated handle protection sleeve, ensuring high break resistance.

The long-fibered, very stable hickory handle is lacquered and ergonomically shaped.
