The SIMPLEX splitting axes from Halder combine two tools in one, a splitting axe and a mallet of absolute professional quality, offering significant cost savings compared to purchasing separately. The high product quality is certified by the Board of Trustees for Forest Work and Technology (KWF). The total weight is 2,700g.

The drop-forged and tempered axe blade is ground and polished. Its slim shape is ideal for splitting softwood.

The super plastic insert with D50mm is a medium-hard plastic insert made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable. By using this protective side for wedge work, the risk of injury from metal splinters is completely avoided, and plastic and aluminum wedges have a significantly longer lifespan.

The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, ensuring high break resistance.

The long-fibered, very stable hickory handle is varnished and ergonomically shaped.

The leather blade guard protects against injury during transport.
