SILIFIX round sharpening stick made of silicon carbide, ideal for precise grinding work on round and curved surfaces. Perfectly suited for tool making, deburring, and sharpening carving tools. Use these stones with oil or water, depending on the requirements of the workpiece. Once used with oil, they can no longer be used with water. If necessary, these sharpening sticks can also be used dry. Avoid side pressure, as the thin sticks can break!

Note on the designations coarse - medium - fine: These serve only as an addition to differentiate the stones colloquially among themselves and not to compare them with other stones where completely different standards may apply. A fine 280 grit honing rod is not a fine Japanese water stone! If you compare the grit designation as a number, i.e., 100 - 180 - 280, then both types are comparable, as the European standard (FEPA F) and the Japanese standard (JIS) make little difference in the grits in this range.

Use these stones with oil or water, depending on the requirements of the workpiece. Note: Once used with oil, they cannot be used with water. If necessary, these sharpening sticks can also be used dry. Avoid applying pressure from the side, as the thin sticks can break!
