SHINTO Saw Rasp with Handle Blade Length 250 mm Teeth on both Sides

Product information
This unique rasp construction consists of 10 individual, zigzag bent hardened saw blades that are riveted together to form a dense mesh, creating a rasping surface on the underside. There is enough space between the individual blades for the material removal to be easily accommodated. Unlike conventional rasps, they are virtually clog-free. In addition to wood, this rasp is also suitable for soft metals, plastic, and plaster.
The teeth of a conventional rasp usually do not reach its outer edge, making work on inner edges quite difficult. With this rasp, it is effortless, as the teeth cover the entire rasping surface.
Each Shinto rasp has a coarse and a fine side. The coarse side allows for quick material removal, and with a rapid switch and rotation of the blade, you can immediately perform fine finishing. This rasp is held with both hands, essentially in the same way you might use other woodworking tools, such as hand planes. The elevated handle allows this rasp to be used on large surfaces, where the handle of conventional rasps might be obstructive. Using the knurled screw in front of the handle, the blade can be switched and rotated in no time.
