These rust erasers from NANIWA are excellent for rust removal.
With the two available grits, the removal and the resulting surface can be well graduated. While the rust eraser with grit 100 works quite aggressively, grit 400 already leaves a respectable surface. Grit 400 also allows careful treatment of chrome surfaces in the household.
What do I use the rust eraser for?
To remove rust from:
- Knives and kitchen knives
- Plane irons and plane bodies
- Pans, gas stoves
- Kitchen and bathroom fixtures
- Edges of skis or skateboards
Also suitable for removing paint and possibly varnishes on various surfaces.
What should be considered when using the rust erasers?
- Test on an inconspicuous area before use, if necessary.
- Not suitable for sensitive surfaces that scratch easily, unless the surface can be finely reworked.
- Be cautious when removing rust from sharp and pointed objects. Risk of injury.
