These hand-cut riffler rasps from the brand STUBAI, located in Fulpmes, Austria, where there is a tradition of tool manufacturing by cooperatively linked blacksmiths that dates back well over a hundred years and whose roots can be traced at least as far back as the 14th century, immediately impressed us:
Developed in close collaboration with professional wood sculptors, they resulted in meaningful combinations of shapes and sizes. The rather delicate yet very well-crafted riffler rasps impress with their sharp, hand-cut teeth. These ensure substantial material removal and good surface quality. Due to the manufacturing process, deviations from the specified dimensions may occur.
Roll-up pouch made from rubberized nylon fabric with hanging loop in red with contrasting black edging, effectively protects the sharp teeth from contact with each other, with space for 3 additional tools.
