This module is swapped in place of the insert plate that is typically cut during the initial setup of the Miter 5000. The module is used when the Miter 5000 is installed on a different saw table or when the sled is moved to the other side of the saw blade. The replacement modules are so useful that it makes sense to have several examples ready as an insert system around the saw blade, for instance, for saw blades with different kerfs, for frequently used blade tilt angles, or for the use of a dado blade stack with an extra-wide kerf.
