The radius rasp has the same shape as a riffler rasp – however, it is significantly larger for effective material removal on larger workpieces. The radius rasp is specifically designed for working on concave or convex surfaces. The medium cut increases material removal and leaves a slight ripple on the wood to achieve an optimal gluing surface. Each side is only cut on one side, specifically on the convex side. The image shows the radius rasp from the opposite side.
