Many users appreciate the Tormek system for its versatility and have realized the benefits of being able to switch between grinding against and with the rotation direction for different tools. With the new rotating base RB-180, you can now effortlessly turn the machine to change the rotation direction. This also facilitates a quick change between grinding and honing!
Great emphasis has been placed on designing the RB-180 as thin as possible to avoid raising the machine, which would alter the grinding position. The rotating base rests on rubber feet, providing stability during grinding.
Tormek always aims for innovations to be compatible with previous machine models. Therefore, the RB-180 features various positioning grooves and fits not only the Tormek models T-8, T-7, and T-4 but also the older models 2000, 1200, SA-250, T-3, and N-1500.
