Product information
If you’ve previously had trouble accurately setting common angles for miters on your woodworking machines, this angle gauge from ULMIA could be a real help to you. Whether it’s angles for squares, pentagons, hexagons, octagons, or even dodecagons—all common settings can be made quickly and accurately.
This irregular polygon can be used on table saws, planers, table routers, radial arm saws, band saws, drill presses, or similar machines. When used flat, for example, a miter fence can be set; when used upright, the stable aluminum knob provides good vertical support, leaving both hands free for adjustment work. It’s also ideal for making picture frames!
The six most common angles are available:
- for squares: 45°
- for pentagons: 54°
- for hexagons: 60°
- for octagons: 67.5°
- for dodecagons: 75°
- and 90° through the use of the central openings
This angle setting gauge is made from high-strength, laser-engraved spring steel, and the knob is made from aluminum. This aluminum knob is held to the template by a magnet. The overall size is 216 × 152 mm.
