These innovative polishing files with an elastic plastic core have the abrasive medium applied on both sides to an intermediary sponge-like backing. Due to the choice of materials and the sophisticated design, even otherwise difficult-to-reach areas can be specifically worked on. If used wet (with water, which can also remove debris after work) instead of dry, the already long lifespan is further increased. Ideal for model builders and toolmakers!
Set of 4 double-sided Micro-Mesh polishing files:
- Coarse: Combination grit 1500 and 1800
- Medium: Combination grit 2400 and 3600
- Fine: Combination grit 4000 and 6000
- Very fine: Combination grit 8000 and 12000
To achieve a convincing result, it is important that the surface of the object to be worked on is appropriately prepared and already shows a certain quality. We strongly recommend pre-sanding with our modeling files. The sequence of grits should be followed with none skipped.
