Made from solid extruded aluminum, anodized and laser-engraved on both sides, this triangular layout square measures only 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) along one side. The 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) wide and 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) thick base rests firmly against the workpiece and has an overhang of 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) on one edge and 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) on the other.
Like a full-sized layout square, this mini square has 1/16-inch graduations as well as angle markings in 10° increments. However, the protractor part is not as precise as that of a standard square.
The square fits in any pocket and is ideal for marking smaller wood joints or working in confined spaces where simple cut-off or miter squares are needed.
