Due to the heavier head and longer handle, this outdoor hatchet is significantly more effective than the mini hatchet and still compact enough for a backpack. Often marketed as an „outdoor axe,” we prefer the term „outdoor hatchet.” It’s very handy for firewood and raft building and even suitable for felling smaller trees. The handle guard made of sheet steel ensures a long life for the handle even in the case of "misstrikes."
