With these clamps, the sliding bracket is freely movable, but the handle with spindle and pressure plate is missing. The sliding bracket is simply pushed up to the workpiece. The fixed bracket is rotatably mounted. Clamping is achieved by turning the wing screw, which pushes the rotatably mounted bracket downwards. The travel distance is therefore only 21 mm, which is completely sufficient since the pressure plates already contact the workpiece before the clamping process. Not only is the bracket rotatably mounted, but also the upper pressure plate, allowing non-parallel parts to be securely clamped. These clamps allow very controlled clamping. It is also recommended not to apply too much pressure, up to 1500 N. Rail made of steel, bracket made of die-cast aluminum, pressure plates made of plastic.
Due to the movable suspension of the pressure plate, even difficult-to-clamp workpieces can be managed (image top left and right). The pressure plate can be swiveled 13.5° outward and 17.5° inward to securely hold non-parallel workpieces (image bottom right). The travel distance is 21 mm, allowing for easy controlled clamping without the fear of the pressure plate twisting, as with conventional clamps where the pieces to be glued can unintentionally shift against each other (image bottom left).
