This grinding system consists of a plastic handle and replaceable abrasive metal plates. These grinding files are extremely convenient to handle. The grinding surface of the metal plates has a long lifespan, and the grinding performance is enormous. The Japanese manufacturer indicates the grit size as approximately 280 – 400 according to the Japanese standard and describes it as „medium.” This corresponds to about grit 240 according to the European standard. However, since the material is not actually grit but consists of a metal plate, these indications are only approximate.
These grinding files are very versatile in their application. For example, they are suitable for removing burrs on plastics as well as for the fine finishing of wood surfaces. The rounded shapes are particularly suitable for the fine finishing of recesses in wood and plastic.
This trapezoidal rounded shape is very well suited for grinding recesses and for reworking profiles.
