This sanding system consists of a plastic handle and replaceable abrasive metal plates. These sanding files are extremely comfortable to handle. The sanding surface of the metal plates has a long service life, and the sanding performance is tremendous. The Japanese manufacturer specifies the grit size as approximately 280 – 400 according to Japanese standards and describes it as „medium”. This corresponds to about grit 240 according to European standards. However, since the material is not actually grit but consists of a metal plate, the specifications are only approximate.
These sanding files are very versatile in application. They are suitable, for example, for removing burrs from plastics as well as for the fine finishing of wood surfaces. The rounded shapes are especially suitable for the fine finishing of recesses in wood and plastic.
This slim rounded shape is very well-suited for sanding recesses and for reworking profiles.
