This grinding system consists of a plastic handle and replaceable abrasive metal plates. These grinding files are extremely convenient to handle. The grinding surface of the metal plates has a long lifespan, and the grinding performance is enormous. The grit size is specified by the Japanese manufacturer as approximately 280 – 400 according to Japanese standards and referred to as „medium.” This corresponds to about grit 240 according to European standards. However, since the material is not a grain but consists of a metal plate, these specifications are only approximate.
These grinding files are very versatile in application. They are suitable, for example, for removing burrs from plastics just as well as for the fine finishing of wood surfaces. The round shapes are especially suitable for the fine finishing of recesses in wood and plastic.
