Although relatively small, the stop at the wide end is 89 mm wide and 32 mm deep. The straight leg is 25 mm wide and 57 mm long. This makes it very easy to draw 45° markings, especially on small workpieces like picture frames. As with marking templates, the marking line can be drawn in one go without having to set down the template, which leads to greater accuracy.
