Product information
Originally the largest rip-cut saw in the Veritas lineup – and now the smallest!
At a length of 182 mm, this fully functional miniature tenon saw is about 1/3 the size of its full-sized counterpart. The carbon steel blade is 137 mm long and allows for an effective cutting depth of up to 36 mm. The blade thickness of 0.3 mm and very minimal set result in a kerf width of just under 0.4 mm. Tooth spacing of 0.9 mm (27 tpi), with a 14° rake.
Like the original, the saw features a spine that stabilizes the blade and a closed handle, though here it is made of walnut. It can be gripped in various ways and, due to its fine teeth, can also be used for crosscuts.
