This is a fully functional miniature version of the regular-sized edge plane. Suitable for narrow strips up to 9.5 mm wide. Despite its small size, it is easy to handle; a light pressure with the fingertip is sufficient for shaving.
The 60 mm long plane body and cap are made of stainless iron cast. The A2 steel iron is 12.7 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick. The plane bed has an angle of 12°, and together with the iron’s bevel angle of 25°, it results in a cutting angle of 37°. The skew angle of the iron for a slight pulling cut is 30°. The weight is 50 g.
The plane is delivered in a gift box.
