The traditional company YORK from the Czech Republic manufactures this solid and heavy vise. It can be rotated 45° to each side using an integrated rotating base with locking screws, allowing even more difficult workpieces to be clamped in a way that provides a good working position. The wrench keys for the locking screws on the rotating base can be replaced with M10 nuts if the vise seldom needs to be rotated or if there is concern that the two lateral wrench keys might be in the way. Additionally, it can be set up without the rotating base. The spindle is enclosed in a cylinder to prevent premature contamination. There is an anvil located at the rear. The jaws are made of high-quality steel and are replaceable.
Type Lux T with an additional V-groove under the jaws to allow for clamping pipes. These jaws can also be easily disassembled if workpieces that widen downward require this space.
