The seamless saw body is made from material only 1.2 mm thick. Combined with the 2.5 mm wide carbide teeth, this allows for jam-free drilling with good chip removal, as there is a 0.5 mm gap all around between the hole saw body (D = 59 mm) and the drilled hole (D = 60 mm). Large side slots guide the chips into the open interior space of the hole saw body.
Maximum drilling depth of 60 mm in a single operation, up to 130 mm in multiple operations in wood, plywood, chipboard, MDF, polyvinyl pipes, plasterboard, fiberglass-reinforced plastics, and various composite materials with metal or ceramic veneers. However, it is not suitable for hard ceramics. If you try to scratch the surface with a nail and no scratches are visible, this hole saw is not suitable because the material is too hard. Suitable for drilling machines in rotary mode, deactivate hammer function! Large nails in the material are not a problem; they are cleanly cut by the hole saw. The mounts are the same for all Poly-Clic hole saws!
