Whether in furniture construction, interior construction, or carpentry when building log houses – the SHINWA Scriber transfers profiles directly onto the board that needs to be adjusted.
The device is held in such a way that the two spirit level vials for both planes are always aligned horizontally. Initially, it takes some practice to hold the horizontal level freehand, but once you master it, you’ll have an indispensable tool. The spirit level vials are relatively large and particularly easy to read – thanks to the light blue liquid and the thick white graduations. No angle adjustment of the pencil and tracer is required.
The pencil still needs to be sharpened. The tracing point can also be replaced by a second pencil to mark two lines at the same time. The pencil line can be erased when dry. If the surface gets wet, the line will turn blue and can no longer be removed. The compass is made of stainless steel, rust-free, and the spirit level is made of plastic.
