PICARD’s claw hammer of the latest generation is a unique hybrid construction. The perfect balance of robustness and ergonomics allows for full power use for striking energy.
Head: Aluminum meets steel: Lightweight, yet extremely fracture-resistant where it makes sense. Hard and robust where it counts. The inseparable connection of the components ensures maximum safety. Carefully selected aluminum and steel qualities give the AluTec® a long lifespan and high stability. The nail holder is equipped with an extremely strong magnet.
Claw and Tip: The claw and the slim, elongated tip are precisely crafted and inductively hardened. This ensures that even small nails are securely captured.
Face: The face is carefully hardened and specially tempered, with the roughened version being particularly deeply charred. Additionally, a version with a smooth face is available.
Handle: The handle is profiled, making it both weight-saving and stable.
Grip: The grip of the AluTec® and the handle are permanently bonded with a specially developed two-component industrial adhesive. A special design ensures that the end of the handle does not work its way through the grip. The vibration-damping material and ergonomic shape ensure fatigue-free work. It is no wonder that this hammer was the winner of the EISEN Award 2022 at the International Hardware Fair in Cologne. Although PICARD did not reinvent the hammer, they have developed it significantly further. We, too, are thrilled with the perfect balance for us!
