The disposable planer knife system from Brück consists of the Self Set knife holder and the disposable reversible planer knife. Depending on the number of knife slots in the cutterhead of your planer, you will need the corresponding number of knife holders as a one-time purchase and the disposable planer knives as a recurring need. You only need to set the knife holder with the knife once. When changing knives, no adjustments are necessary.

*Application
*It is only necessary to remove the planer knives located in the cutterhead and to remove the springs that press the knives under the setting gauge for strip planer knives from the head. For each installation position, a BRÜCK Self Set knife holder is placed together with a disposable planer knife in such a way that the „tabs” on the knife holder rest on top of the cutterhead. Then the screws of the knife pressure bar (for standard cutterheads 0.8 – 1 mm) are fixed.

Use: Surface and thickness planers, as well as four-sided planers and table milling machines

Materials: Solid wood, tempered and densified woods, glued solid woods, hardwoods, and softwoods

Working range: Cutting speed VS 40 – 70 m/s

Feed type: Manual feed for counter-rotating milling. Mechanical feed for counter-rotating milling

Operating speed: Observe the speed range marked on the tool or maximum speed

Knives: All knife slots must always be equipped. - Risk of imbalance!

This knife holder is made of high-quality precision material and equipped with magnets and safety adjustment pins. It is designed to hold the Brück disposable reversible planer knives.

Delivery WITHOUT knives! Please order the appropriate knives of the same length separately.
Please make sure that the disposable planer knives are placed correctly on the knife holder – see illustration.
The unit of holder and knife has the same dimensions as a strip planer knife and can therefore be used in almost all planers without modification to the cutterhead/knife block.
