The same head made of hand-forged carbon steel as the trekking axe, but with a short, handy handle. Therefore, it’s even better suited for trips into the wilderness! Wood sculptors will also appreciate this axe, as there are now several reports of making bowls with this axe! The axe can not only be used for striking but even like a carving knife – for example, for sharpening tent pegs. Simply hold it very close to the axe head with your right hand, press the peg with your left onto a wooden surface, and shave off chips as you would with a knife.
