The combination of the solid brass head, a walnut wood handle, and the appealing profile results in an elegant and effective mallet. Designed for tasks that require more finesse than force, these mallets can be held by the handle or cradled with the head in the palm for even more precise control over the striking power. The head is attached to the handle with a blind thread rather than a through-hole. The flat top serves as an additional striking surface, providing the same work feel and power development as the sides.
The small mallet, with a head diameter of 31 mm, allows for more sensitive striking on fine details. The large mallet, with a head diameter of 41 mm, is ideal for sculpture and wood carving. The overall length is just under 150 mm for each.
