Product information
A Nata is a versatile tool for garden and forest maintenance. It is used for chopping brushwood, pruning branches, splitting small logs, thinning out shrubbery, and debarking. This Nata is single-beveled on the right side, allowing for cuts directly at the trunk. The heavy blade is forge-welded from two layers of carbon steel with a softer iron core. It comes with a white oak wooden handle and a plastic-coated wooden sheath with a belt loop.
Tip for safe wood splitting: Use a wooden mallet to drive the blade into the log sections! Always use a chopping block as a base!
Tip to prevent accidents: Never strike horizontally against thinner trunks that grow vertically, such as bamboo. The risk of kickback is significant and can lead to serious injuries.
Tip for maintenance: This Nata is not stainless steel! Remove water droplets and dirt after use with a cloth. Grip the blade from the spine. Then oil the blade to prevent rust formation.
