Japanese pruning shears in a professional design with metal locking mechanism. Type A features a more pronounced finger stop in the handle design before the blade, providing a secure grip for the hand.
The shears are manufactured in a traditional manner, incorporating many elements from the Japanese sword-making process.
A special feature is the use of a tapered screw to attach the blades, which allows the shears to be used for a long time without the screw loosening. An experienced craftsman sharpens the blade, ensuring the shears have excellent cutting quality.
The blade of this robust, high-quality tool is made from hardened KA70 carbon steel (58 – 60HRC).
